出猟の際の儀礼を示す。単（盾たて）を清める儀式。盾の上部に羽飾りなどを加えている。下部の台座は口（さいの形・祝詞を入れる器）。右は犬（猛獣の意）。 BEAST：Indicates the ritual for hunting. A ceremony to purify the shield. The upper part of the shield is decorated with feathers and other ornaments. The lower pedestal is a "sai" (a form of a vessel to hold the words of congratulation). On the right is a dog (meaning fierce beast).
